d'fabulous The Internet's First Super Star 2007  hey don't call "her" The Internet's First Super Star for nothing! D Shellhammer, D'Fabulous to some, is the only known surviving member of the initial "cam whores" / bloggers from the beginning of the Internet. Not only has D managed to remain a presence on the Internet for the last ten years, he has made it a very successful run. D is an artist, poet, blogger, vlogger and media megalomaniac. He has published four books (to date) as well as produced many poetic and artistic renderings since the early nineties. In short, D was making a living from being himself on the Internet before most of us knew or cared what "HTML" was. He is currently busy with Las Vegas life and broadcasting monthly on his first radio show, The Fabulous D Show with his friend & co-host Charlotte Bukowski. Less of a drag queen and more of a super star trapped in a man's body, D's androgynous presentation all started "back in the day" when there was some major emotional gender confusion. Since then D has created the woman you see before you as an example of having courage in yourself to be who you are ... and to be an exhibit of forever changing art. D's current motto is to be as fun and fabulous as you can be, just enjoy life because there's nothing we're going to do to change it. Besides enjoy ourselves, that is! |
